It was a hard choice between Nicole and Salma. I kind of hoped Salma would've taken it but well deserving to Nicole either way. I just hated how they cut her off like that. Yes, she basically ended her speech but it's not as if the orchestra didn't see her come back to the microphone. They should've stopped and let her say what she needed to say. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity/chance so they should let them say everything. Even if they forget at the last minute like Nicole did here.

nicole kidman is the only actress there that should not of got the oscar and i am australian. nicole always looks wooden and glacial in her movies, thats why she so suited the stepford wives.rene or salma should of won it.

lol Nic wouldn't come away from the microphone at the end when the music was playing, she probably had forgotten to thank someone:P its quite funny to watch though, it was as if she was going to say "but im not finished yet!" lol! Love the film, its so moving and its just so well done and she bloody well deserved that oscar also because of the other films she had done earlier that same year. She is an idol to me as a person and as an actress.

just so you know you should never spell come like cum cuz cum is a HOLE diff WORD and they dont cry cuz they are supposed to act happy for this other person who one cuz right when the other person wins the cam is still on the person who lost and it would look really bad if you have a pissed of face when you lose and the cam is on you so when they get home they cry for 3 hours then fall asleep :)
