A series of clips from the 1st episode of season 3 of Home Improvement. This is 1 of my fave episodes as it has some really good comedy in it for a season opener.
Taken from the episode "My Hypocritical Oath".
JD, Turk and Carla are going to an African-American club and we see JD's history of trying to get in.
I originally cut this out for my friend who finds my interpretation of "YEEEAHH BOIII" funny
I am getting into film making, and by drawing a storyboard I then made this film. It's good fun and takes longer than I thought.
I used a Sony handycam that takes digital tape and Final Cut Express 4.0 to edit it.
I watched this movie and thought it needed some explaination, especially to those who don't realise this is a remake/adaptation of the original 1951 film, which, is great, for the era it is from.
Apologies for the phone camera use but it is all I had on me at the time as I was in the cinema.
This is a small video i made of some of our club members at the KUGB Shotokan Cup 2005. In the kumite (sparring) our members are the boy in red and in the adult fight, the guy on the right.
We have not practiced team kata in nearly 18 months due to changes in life, only tried once in the summer, but this was a session just to see if we could keep some sort of timing, NOT so much technique, etc.
Any tips and advice are welcome.
This was our senior team, i think we were practicing in about April 05 for the KUGB nationals, which we missed the 2nd round by 0.1 point, possible because certain parts have changed, stances and wotnot.
This is some of our club members competing in the 2005 KUGB central region championships. I forgot i had these videos. This kata is Bassai Dai.

Bruce and Dan trying a few flips and stuff, both being almost naturals, Dan especially. A few little moves from me in there from the crap end of the scale. Any tips on timing the arms for flips would be great (getting out me old Juji videos to learn again)
This is my new punchbag, 45kg, 5'5'', only had it 2 days when i made this video so any tips on how to use it, proper boxing punches, martial arts techniques, etc, would be great, thanx :)
BBC website has a 'make your own trailer' on the Doctor Who site. This is what I made, but couldn't rip it from the site so just used a cam to rec it then edit in Final Cut Express.
Hey guys and gals, here is a more generic vid about my new job, my friends and a small bit on recent news...oh yeh, & sum wacky bits inbetween, just 2 take the edge off...
Enjoy
Comments, ideas and philosophies welcome :)
This is just another trial with Final Cut Express 4.0 but with sparks and sound effects. No wooshing though. I would like to be able to do 3D movements with the LS but not learnt how to yet + being able to put the LS behind objects as well as in front but maybe i need Adobe After Effects for that?
